Since 2010 Allyson has been writing and composing her own music. Open Your Eyes, Allyson’s first composition, was successfully turned into a music video.
Allyson is actively involved in the community and has held governance roles of organisations such as CCS Disability Action, Agender New Zealand, Outline NZ, GenderBridge and the Cerebral Palsy Society.
