Daniel King has been dancing professionally since 2001 with Touch Compass Dance Company. He also has an interest in films and film making.
This globetrotting performer is constantly pushing himself to extend his abilities and received a Highly Commended certificate for his artistic achievements at the Arts Access Aotearoa Big ‘A’ Awards in 2012.
Daniel was diagnosed with left-sided Hemiplegia at a young age and he is unable to use his left arm or leg, so gets around by hopping or using a wheelchair. He has the unique ability to stand on one leg for long periods of time.
